The Cat in the Hat Giveaway Courtesy of Random House

Yesterday I shared my interview with Jay Ingram, lead science advisor, celebrated science author, and television host about The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That.

In honor of the debut of The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, Random House has generously provided a wonderful prize pack that includes a limited-edition canvas tote, four books from The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library by Random House, and bookmarks featuring Cat in the Hat stickers!

I would like to ask Jay what kind of deal he had to work out with the Suess estate, in terms of copyright, etc. I've been very impressed with how similar the cat in the hat is to the books, and so this got me wondering.
