Hi! I’m Leticia.
My background as a classroom teacher and technology consultant for a large public school system in the DC Metro Area has provided me with the knowledge and expertise about topics like age appropriate technology for children of all ages and kid-friendly website design.
I use my background in technology and education as the Community Manager for PBS Teachers, where I manage an online learning community of over 58,000 teachers. My love and knowledge of social media allows me to work for Blogalicious as their Social Media Manager and serve as the Community Manger for My Blogalicious, a soon to be launched site where I will work with content editors writing feature columns on a variety of topics.
I am a professional blogger. I write a weekly column about technology and education for The LeapFrog Community and was one of the 30 original City Editors for Being Savvy Washington DC, a Savvy Source site where I wrote about fun educational outings in the DC Metro Area. I contribute to DC Metro Moms, a Silicon Valley Moms Blog site, and write for The Washington Times.
I am also a freelance writer. For a list of places where my work has appeared, please visit my Press page.
